Which type of camera do you need?
For the beginner, a second-hand simple SLR camera with a standard zoom is sufficient.
We recommend that you do not buy your camera online (e.g., at or e-bay), but at a well-equipped camera store.
That way you will have a warranty should anything go wrong, and you can feel the camera in your hands before buying it.  If you want more, then a system camera is also a very good choice
Combination discount:  Combined with a workshop (costs: € 105,- ) following the basics course, you will receive a discount of € 25,- on the total costs: Basic Photography + workshop together for €435,- instead of  €460,-!  If you choose this combination, please note this in the comment field of the sign-up form.  You can find the workshops listed under the column “offer” (“aanbod”) of this website.
